Mrs. Virginia Lisbon Williams, affectionately known as "Big Six", transitioned to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the Hospice House in Florence SC.

She was born on August 5, 1939, to the late Zill and Daisy Henry Lisbon in Lee County South Carolina, where she attended the Public Schools of Lee County. At an early age, she married the late James Lewis Williams and to this union, seven (7) children were born.

Virginia worked several jobs. She loved gardening and flowers. Virginia was a dedicated member of Bethany Baptist Church, Lamar, SC until her health failed. She devoted herself to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Willie James (Jeannie) of Arkansas; Marion Williams of St. Charles, SC and Lemont Williams of Lamar, SC; two daughters, Linda Williams of Texas and Pearlie Mae Williams of Lamar, SC; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; three (3) sisters-in-law; Marie (Willie) Primes of Lamar, SC; Margaret Williams of Lamar, SC and Gladys Damen of Bishopville SC; two special nieces, Mary Yates of Sumter SC & Geneva McElveen of Darlington SC; a special nephew, Luther Lisbon of Lamar, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by two beloved sons, James Lewis, Jr and Roosevelt, along with eight (8) siblings; Louvenia, James, Freddie, Dorothy, Mary Bell, Wilson, Zill Jr, John, Ernest and twelve (12) young siblings. You may visit the family at their resident at 116 Duke Street in Lamar, SC.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Essie Mae Wilson Chapel. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 6th, at 3:00 PM at Bethany Baptist Church, 205 W. Pearl Street, Lamar, SC. Following the service, burial will be at Plaza Memorial Cemetery.
