Deanna Laveta Michael was born on March 30, 1973, in Orlando, Florida, to Gwendolyn Michael of Lamar, SC and George Booker of Tildenville, FL . She peacefully passed away on February 22, 2025, in South Carolina. Deanna dedicated her life to helping others as a medical assistant, a career she pursued with deep passion and love. Her kindness and care extended far beyond her professional duties, as she truly adored her patients and

treated them like family.

Deanna leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory; one daughter, Aviyawna Michael of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one son, Dimontrious Michael of Orlando, Fl; one step-son, Travis Thomas Jr; mother, Gwendolyn Michael of Lamar, SC; father, George Booker of Tildenville, FL; Four Brothers, Octavius McMillian of Lamar, SC, Santanio Jackson of Apopka, FL, Marlon (Jackie) Macroy of Winter Garden, FL, and Terell (Celeste) Jackson of Apopka, FL; Two Sisters, Nina (Troy) Bouler of Florence, SC and Laschell Long of Apopka, FL; Four special cousins, more like sisters, Shenica Michael, Kristi Michael, Alecia Daniels and Sevilla Daniels and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Deanna was a true homebody at heart, Deanna found joy in the simple things—watching funny movies, sharing laughter, and brightening the lives of those around her. Her contagious laugh and infectious smile were gifts to the world, bringing comfort and happiness to everyone she encountered. Her smile, like the sunrise, warmed hearts and left a lasting impression on all who knew her. We will miss you Deanna, but we find comfort and strength in knowing you are no longer suffering. You will live in our hearts forevermore.
